1. General Installation Guidelines

  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply for continuous operation
  • Do not block the ultrasonic output area
  • Keep the device away from direct water exposure, excessive heat, or fire
  • Do not cover the device with cloth, metal objects, or other materials
  • Use only the recommended power specifications

2. Vehicle Installation Guidelines

For Ratguard vehicle protection systems:

  • Install the device inside the engine compartment, away from direct water exposure
  • Keep the device away from moving engine components
  • Ensure all wires are properly secured and insulated
  • Avoid installation near extreme heat sources such as exhaust manifolds
  • Maintain correct polarity while connecting to battery terminals
  • The device should remain continuously powered whenever possible

Recommendation: Professional installation by a qualified technician or electrician is advised.

3. Office and Warehouse Installation

  • Place the device in an open area for maximum ultrasonic coverage
  • Avoid placing the device behind furniture, walls, storage boxes, or heavy obstacles
  • Large areas may require multiple devices for effective coverage
  • Maintain clean surroundings to improve effectiveness
  • Seal major rodent entry points wherever possible
