This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to all Ratguard products purchased through our website, marketplaces, distributors, or authorized sellers.
1. Warranty Coverage
Ratguard products are covered against verified manufacturing defects under normal usage conditions during the applicable warranty period.
Warranty Period
- Ratguard SonicArmor X Car Protection Device: 2 Years Limited Warranty
- Ratguard Home / Industrial Devices: 1 Year Limited Warranty
- Accessories, adapters, cables, and consumable items: No warranty unless explicitly stated
The warranty period begins from the original date of delivery or invoice.
2. What Is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Internal circuit malfunctions
- Power-related manufacturing defects
- Speaker or transducer failure due to manufacturing faults
- Device failure under normal recommended operating conditions
JP Enterprise reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide an equivalent resolution after inspection.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage or breakage
- Water damage or moisture exposure
- Burnt components due to voltage fluctuations
- Improper installation or unauthorized modifications
- Reverse polarity connections
- Damage caused by rodents, insects, pets, or external objects
- Damage caused by fire, accidents, impact, or negligence
- Usage contrary to installation instructions
- Cosmetic wear and tear
- Tampering, opening, or unauthorized repair attempts
- Damage during customer handling or transportation
- Use with incompatible power sources or electrical systems
4. Product Performance Disclaimer
Ratguard products use ultrasonic deterrent technology designed to help reduce rodent activity. However, no ultrasonic repellent device can guarantee complete prevention of rodent entry, nesting, wire damage, or property damage in all environments.
Effectiveness may vary depending on factors such as infestation level, rodent species, behavior patterns, environmental conditions, hygiene, food availability, installation method, entry points, and continuous power supply.
5. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide:
- Order ID or invoice copy
- Registered mobile number or email address
- Product photos or videos (if requested)
- A clear description of the issue
Claims can be submitted via website support form, email, WhatsApp support, or customer service channels.
6. Inspection and Approval
All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection and approval.
JP Enterprise reserves the right to:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Provide a refurbished replacement
- Reject invalid claims
The final decision after inspection shall be binding.
7. Shipping Responsibility
- Customers may be required to ship defective products to a designated service address
- Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless otherwise approved
- JP Enterprise is not responsible for damage during return transit due to improper packaging
- Customers are advised to use secure and protective packaging when returning products
8. Limitation of Liability
JP Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:
- Vehicle wiring damage
- Rodent infestation-related losses
- Property damage
- Business interruption
- Financial losses
- Loss of goods or inventory
9. Jurisdiction
All disputes related to warranty claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Surat, Gujarat, India.
